Boots for slim calves?

MyNameIsAnAnagram · 21/10/2013 18:25

Please be gentle I've never posted in S&B before ;)

I have quite skinny legs and struggle to find knee length boots that aren't too wide, are there any particular brands that are better for the thin of leg?

What is skinny? How many centimetres around the widest part of your calf are we talking?

mewkins · 21/10/2013 20:59

I find a lot of Dune ones are quite slim. If you find Jonesslim fit ones you like there is a 25pc off code at the moment.

MyNameIsAnAnagram · 21/10/2013 21:08

Thanks for the suggestions. 33cm at the widest part of my calf.

You must be my twin!!!!! My calf is also 33cm at fattest part, bloody nightmare for boot shopping but prob my best feature as mine are really long (34 inside leg)

Boots are such a struggle watching with intrest, I'm also very fussy when it comes to boots not seen anything I like on the Jones website

skylerwhite · 21/10/2013 21:27

Me too! I just measured mine, and they are 32cm at fattest part. I find the worst thing is boots sagging in the bit between the calf and the ankle, if you know what I mean - I always have big wrinkles in the leather there.

MrsDavidBowie · 21/10/2013 21:32

I ordered another pair from Duo yesterday with the offer.....mine are a massive 34cms Grin

MicroPigInHighHeels · 21/10/2013 22:01

Duo all the way here too. I take a 30cm calf with them, they fit my stupid pipe cleaner legs perfectly. A while back they introduced a petite range too which meant after 17 years of searching I could finally wear knee high boots which didn't resemble waders.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 21/10/2013 22:03

Zolando have knee high boots starting from 10 inch calf width. All their boots give the width so you can look, see what you like and then check the sizing :) you also get a £10 off code if you sign up for emails

Missbopeep · 21/10/2013 22:06

Duo too- but advise going to a store to try if at all possible. I have 3 pairs all different foot sizes! I am a 38 but also have a 37 and 39 - all 32, 33 or 34 cms.

LeoandBoosmum · 21/10/2013 22:22

Duo :)

sphynx · 21/10/2013 22:44

I recently bought Gabor Queen knee boots from John Lewis. They are a really good fit for my skinny curves.

sphynx · 21/10/2013 22:44

Sorry that should say skinny calves not curves! Wish I had curves!

Mumof3girlys · 22/10/2013 00:31

Duo and zolando, never heard of these before but def going to check out, the 2 pairs of knee highs I own are both 5 years old, managed to keep in amazing condition with regular rehealing etc but ready for a new pair now x

susiefen · 22/10/2013 07:32

Was it a code for the Duo 20% off, or have I missed the offer??? Typical!
