My friend is off to NYC on Monday, and has asked me if she can pick anything up for me. I love Kiehls lip gloss, but was wondering if anyone can recommend any other products to try? I have heard their hair stuff is good and I have crazy wavy frizz.

Specifically from Kiehls? Their avocado eye cream, and spf60 facial moisturiser are supposed to be excellent.

If you are looking at other brands, Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream moisturiser is lovely.

Favourite products of mine are the a Midnight Recovery Oil and the Skin Rescuer. I've really noticed a difference since using them

The coriander shower gel is gorgeous , olive oil conditioner too. I also use the BB cream. Love Kiehls!

Another vote for Midnight Recovery Oil. Makes my skin really glow and made it so soft. I also use the creme de corps and face wash, both excellent.

My friend is not so shopping savvy so just thought I would go for a brand see can find easily in department stores over there without having to hunt about . Thanks for the tips so far. Has anyone tried their hair stuff then?

Kiehls's standout product is the super strength line reducing concentrate - a serum, basically, it's amazing. Vanilla body wash, amino acid shampoo, olive oil conditioner, all lovely :)

You know they have stores and counters here (just checking)?
The US stores are generous with samples so I'd personally give her a list of samples to ask for :)
The eye makeup remover is amazing! Their hair stuff is nice. I don't think the lip glosses are anything to write home about. Fresh's lip stuff (sugar flavoured balms but in a sophisticated way) is gorgeous! They do have a London store but P&P is expensive, and buying in the US would be cheaper. I think Fresh has a store in NYC.

Creme de corps body cream and shower cream is amazing. Pineapple and papaya facial scrub made a real difference. I also use the ultra moisturiser facial wash. My face gets dry in winter. Creme de elegance repairateur is like magic stuff. It's expensive but you only need a sliver if it. Ultra facial cream is almost as good.

The lip balm no 1 is great but close behind it the tinted lip balms are lovely too.

I have got loads of ideas now, thanks all! I know you can buy it here but I seem to remember it being substantially cheaper in USA from when I was over there last long time ago.

it is cheaper here yes, I'd say 20-30% on average.

I second Creme de Corps Body Cream. 'Tis fab.
