£50 to spend at Debenhams

I received an unexpected bonus at work last week which is £50 of Debenhams vouchers :). I'm not sure what to spend them on...I don't new need boots or a new bag, and the clothes range in my local store isn't that great. So I'm thinking either skin care or maybe perfume. I haven't bought anything 'expensive' for myself for a long time, so I want to spend it wisely. So...I'm 43, my skin isn't great, skin tone a bit uneven, not too wrinkly, but definitely showing signs of aging. I used to like Clarins products in wealthier times (pre DS), but I'm really out of touch with all of the new products on the market (I'm using Aldi stuff at the moment!)

So, if you had fifty quid to spend on yourself, what would you buy?

Could you buy some Christmas presents and use the money saved to spend elsewhere.

As it was a work bonus and not a personal present from a friend or relative, I don't think you would be upsetting anyone doing this. Or maybe check how long they are valid for and maybe spend them next year when you may really want something.

Sorry I know this is probably not much help with skin creams.

What about perfume? £50 would get you something really nice

i recently bought \link{http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_304052102305_-1\this} jewellery box from matthew williamson, butterfly range, it's really nice, there are lots in the range which is a bit different, am going to get the matching frame next, also VF34 apparentlyt gets extra 10% off today on orders over £30

I treated myself to a few bits and pieces from the home range the other day, some of it is very nice and a bit more upmarket than the home range at Asda etc where I would usually buy bits and bobs. I also bought some Benefit mascara for £19 instead of my usual Rimmel £6 stuff.

I am lucky as both local Debenhams have a really good range, clothes as well which is good.

Can you look online and order something nice to be delivered to the store?

If you need pj's I really like the ted baker range at debenhams,
www.debenhams.com/lingerie/nightwear/pyjamas
Failing that, if you have a night out planned book a makeover at one of the counters and spend the money on skincare/makeup

I would go to Clarins and get some nice body oil or serum. Their shower gel is lovely.
I think Debenhams clothes dept is pretty grim...some decent stuff in homeware.

Debenhams seriously needs an overhaul.
