Had some nice stuff from there. Sizing is about right but quality can be hit and miss. Had some blouses which were nice and also had some lovely soft jumpers which bobbled up after one wear.

AFingerofFudge · 18/10/2013 14:54

waiting for my first order with free coat to arrive - will report back!

out2lunch · 18/10/2013 14:58

Quality is very very crappy. Don't go near them. Redoute were very good, say 4 or 5 years ago. But gone downhill since then.

If you are very particular, get stuff in their sales.

WhoNickedMyName · 18/10/2013 16:25

Sizing is all over the place as is the quality - and their customer service is absolutely spectacularly shite.

SpookyRestingFace · 18/10/2013 17:19

Yep, iffy and hit and miss - have had some rubbish from there but recently bought DD a fleecy-lined jacket that is absolutely great, and an 80% wool coat for myself that I LOVE (to my complete amazement, it's not the sort of thing I normally wear at all).

IME the free gifts are pretty shoddy. I ordered some socks to get the free coat but I'm really not expecting much Grin. It looked like fleece from the small picture I saw.

out2lunch · 18/10/2013 17:32

yes it is fleece but it may do dd for college :)

Well parcel has arrived - minus the free fleece coat. Not sure whether I'm actually bothered enough to complain. Not impressed with the quality of either the top or dress I bought (that stretchy sort of jersey wrap style material).
For me a classic case of "you get what you pay for" In my case £10.99 for both including postage and invisible free fleece.

SpookyRestingFace · 21/10/2013 21:57

Mine came with no coat either. Bit annoyed as I had only ordered a pack of socks for DD, which with the postage charge were not good value socks, and needless to say would not have ordered if not for the free gift.

Not going to complain though, doesn't seem worth the effort.

out2lunch · 21/10/2013 22:06

argh maybe I won't bother then.thank you both so much for updating.

I get loads of trousers for ds1 from there.

He's tallish with no bum or waist and their trousers all seem to have adjustable waists which is what he needs.

Their fitted bed sheets are good too - fit deep mattresses really well.

I've never had much luck with clothes for me though.

out2lunch · 24/10/2013 16:29

polite bump

any free coats arrived yet?

OP posts:
busyboysmum · 24/10/2013 18:45

No, I ordered a blouse which is ok and 2 fitted tops which are for under things and are fine. Total £25 but no coat, oos apparently.

Hmmm..

Also did you notice you could hardly use the discount on anything as most things were reduced for some reason, think it's a deliberate ploy, bit sneaky and put me off ordering again.
