Wedding shoes

Hi!

Sorry, new to S&B (if you saw a pic of me you'd understand Grin ) so hope that you lovely ladies may be able to help.

DSis is getting married in May and she can't find a pair of wedding shoes that she likes. The one place that she was relying on (Ivory shoes in Bond Street) has closed and I think that has scuppered her plans a bit.

All I know is that she wants them to be as comfortable as possible (although she wears high heels she wore ridiculously high and beautiful ones for my wedding and regretted it even before the ceremony).

Her dress is ivory satin with lace panels over the top and a little bit "blingy" (in an elegant way, it's not chavtastic!)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What sort of budget does she have?

I had these for my wedding

Oh Scoose they are beautiful! What was your dress like? (Trying to picture what they would be like with DSis' - this is it www.berketexbride.com/products/RNM0262/adrienne )

Were they comfortable?

I honestly don't know what her budget is - could be anything (she has a penchant for shoes and has been known to blow the equivalent of the national debt on ones she particularly likes!)

Think she's looked at Jimmy Choo/Emmy/Freya Rose/Ipilya but can't find anything that she has fallen in love with......

My dress was a similar style to the one you linked too and they were lovely with it and fairly comfortable as the heel is not too high. They have also been saved for other special occasions such as dd's christening etc. Another thing is they are increasing in price mine were £650.00 4 years ago so they have good resale value.

There is a website called shoes of prey where you can design your own shoes if she doesn't see any she likes.

Debenhams have a good selection. If you limit the search to"ivory" online you can see the selection.
