I popped in today, but didn't buy anything. It was very...black and grey. With a pop of orange.

Mind you, who am I to talk- I bought a couple of Mint Velvet tops in grey today. Grin

and I had a very nice pastry in Moka.

Ooooh exciting. I'm off to Kingston on Friday - shall make it my first port of call and Moka my second!!! Smile

Kingston ladies this is very good news to you all1 go go go!
I buy my work wardrobe exclusivly from cos the stuff is sooooo flattering once you wear it. It often looks (to me) odd on the hanger but when you try it. Lovely stuff, sale is good too

I think Cos is brilliant for apples, maybe even pears, but pretty rubbish for hourglass though, I can rarely find one single item that suits me in the whole shop, I've give up.

Its a bloody weird shop. Weird space age clothes

MrsDavidBowie · 17/10/2013 07:40

It is a bit too shapeless and unstructured for me. I need more fitted clothes otherwise I look as if I am wearing a sack of potatoes.

I feel very uncomfortable when I go in there as if the staff are staring at me like I shouldn't darken their doors. A lot of the stuff is shapeless I agree. I feel they are a bit Emperors new clothes-ish.

Snowlike · 17/10/2013 07:56

It's the lack of shape that works for an apple though - perfect for hiding a tummy and highlighting skinny legs.

^Weird space age clothes* is the lovely (brilliantly phrased) point!

I agree the dresses can look a bit voluminous and underwhelming if they don't speak to your particular shape, but generally the coats, separates and accessories are easier. Cool, flattering (if you find the right size) and occasionally indestructible. As close to "cutting edge" as you can get at that price.
