Perimenopausal frizz help please

I know this has been covered many times but I'm really at the end of my (frizzy) rope. I have long, thick, wavy hair which looks a bit Rita Hayworth on good days and Worzel Gummidge the rest of the time. I'm now in perimenopausal throes and notice that my hair has become super frizzy. I use shampoos and conditioners with no silicons and use a deep conditioner with coconut oil once a week and dab on some Argan oil after washing. Nothing makes much difference. I've also tried the curly girl method but my hair just looked dirty after two weeks and while I like curly hair, I'd like it to look smoother in general.

Could my permanent hair mare be hormone related? Does anyone have any experience of this and can vitamins or hormone treatments do anything? I've seen the Keratin home kit thread and that will be my next stop if things don't improve.

Help me ladies!
