What with school runs and an outdoorsy child I get cold a lot in winter!

Particularly interested in the tights, leggings and camis but when it comes to thermals I just think of old people Blush

So come on,tell me what they're like and convince me they're worth it!How much difference do they make?

Watching with interest. When I was pregnant I used to wear those tummy bands and really missed them once I'd had DDs (lovely not to have a cold draught down your back, and knickers/arse on show in stupid low cut jeans) so am thinking of the body warmers...

They DO make a difference. They come in lots of colours. Just don't get the l/s cream ones if you don"t want to risk them looking grannyish. I have some long sleeved ones in black and grey and want some more in other colours. They wash well and this will be my third winter wearing the same ones. Go for it!

They are lovely and thin, so they won't bulk you out.

They move with your body, so you don't have to continually adjust them.

Size up though as they do come up small and I find them more comfortable.

They don't look like thermals. I have the vest tops and wear them under low cut tops, slightly showing, as my large norks would get my sacked.

I bought my OH the long johns and he's happy to wear them, and he's really fussy, so they must be okay!!!

The Thermal long johns are brilliant for skiing, a really nice & long for us tall people.

Don't bother - I bought one after reading about it on here (baaa....) and (a) it's not that warm (b) it rides up.

I was devastated as with postage it cost me nearly £17. I hate my back being cold and this pisses me off so much by riding up my back all the time. I'm a 12 and bought a Large.

Funny, I just wore my uniqlo heat tech tights for the first time today and love them. I was nice and warm and thought they looked really cute. I have the grey patterned ones and wore them with my brogues with a chunky heel. I'll definitely be getting more pairs.
