Help please stylish people! Am rubbish at clothes. I need to find an outfit for a night out next weekend, full on 80's. I have basically have NO clothes and am slowly restocking my wardrobe so I do need a complete outfit....and I would like it to be as re-usable as possible!! Am happy with hair/makeup but really not sure what to get to wear, would like it to be 'nice' ie obviously 80's loud fun outfit but not cheesy? Anyone have ideas?

Am curvy size 10-12 on top (32DD/E boobs), size 12 bottom, bit of a wobbly tummy. Early 30s.

Whatever you do, please don't wear a neon tutu. I was a teen throughout the 80s and I don't ever remember anyone wearing them and I certainly didn't - not even for my ballet classes!

I would go for a tiered skirt (ra-ra skirt Wink ) and a slouchy wide neck tee worn off the shoulder on one side. Go to the charity shop and pick up loads of cheap plastic neon necklaces (that bit was neon!).

OR

buy a plain white tee and paint the words "Choose Life" on the front, a la Wham - you may even get one of these on ebay.

Get a charity shop bright blue suit. Team with a pussycat bow blouse (there are plenty around at the moment that you could wear again) plus any wigs/masks you think necessary (try ebay) and go as Mrs Thatcher.
80s Madonna another option - just lots of denim, cropped t-shirt, bandana, necklaces and bracelets.
HTH and hope yo enjoy Smile

Black body con dress, high heels, lots of red lipstick = Robert Palmer backing singer. And you could wear the dress again.
