Make up bags

I'd like to buy some new make up bags.

Back in the 1980s I bought a set from Keddies the department store in Southend. At the time they were expensive but so well made that they lasted me years. Hand washable an exquisite looking. I can't remember the make.

Since then my budget has decreased over the years and I normally buy from m&s or even h&m on occasion.

I fancy some nice ones. I would like two or three medium sized ones.

I don't like cath kidston or see through.

I did see some nice sized ones in Poundland with Russian doll pattern but they were so badly made I didn't buy! I'd like something well made.

I might even make my own, so links to great fabric are also appreciated.

Thank you.

I have one of the Russian dolls ones from Poundland until I find something else that suits better what I want...it's doing well for a quid tbf....had it since Feb ish & hasn't fallen apart, no loose stitching etc yet Smile

Thank you. I pulled out a few as I liked the design but was worried they would fall apart.

Good to hear it has lasted well. May have another look at them.

May be worth a go for the £1 it costs. I rooted right to the back of the stand thing for the very last one so I was sure no-one else had fiddled with it. Am hoping dp has taken the hint that I would like something a little more case like for Christmas Smile
