Capsule wardrobe/essentials

I've been having a major clear out of clothes today, nothing goes together and doesn't fit/is years old so I'm starting a new wardrobe from scratch.
Budget £300, please help me find some essentials, including shoes
Need high waisted jeans and black trousers as had baby 3 months ago
Where to start please? I'm 28, 5'1" size 10

I'd start with either two pairs of these in indigo and grey or black or two pairs of these ditto. Both are high waisted and a good length for short arses. :)

Then a pair of ankle boots and a decent jacket would be my next buys.

i like next high waist skinny jeans (about £28 I think) their normal skinnies are a weird fit, massive on the waist, too stretchy etc.

long sleeve T's in neutrals

cardigans, different lengths

denim/chambray shirt-soo versatile!

scarves?

outer wear-coat or jacket

ballet pumps and boots

have you a colour palette?

Well I've never had my colours done properly, blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin so I normally stick to navy, pink, light blue, black trousers and jeans.
Would like some good quality cardigans, pink and navy any ideas?
