Help me prioritise my boot requirements!

I want lots of different kinds of boots but can only really afford 1 pair. Can you help me decide which would be most versatile?

I want a knee high flat pair (that I can fit over my ginormous calves) to wear with skirts, dresses, skinnies etc

Also want a pair of 'delicate' ankle boots (maybe kitten heeled?) to wear with work trousers, non-skinny jeans etc

Also want a chunky pair of ankle/mid calf boots to wear mainly with skinnies (biker style maybe?)

I guess the knee highs sound best but I'm new to skinny jeans & want as many ways to wear them as possible.

Help style gurus!

what about these knee boots, flat and tan goes with many colours,

Ive just bought these to go with dresses, with tights but they also look fab with skinny jeans too, they are quite narrow though, im usually a 6 and found i needed a 7 in them.

Hmmm narrow wouldn't work with me, have very wide feet. I'm also not really convinced by shoe boots or skirts with ankle boots, it just looks wrong & clumpy to me.
