Winter wedding help for my Mum

So for weeks now my DM has been looking for the perfect wedding outfit. I am struggling with helping her so wondered if I might turn to you lot for inspiration

... She is size 16, about 5ft 4, and 62,blondish hair and blue eyes
....she wants a dress no jacket
....she feels her knees need to be covered.

So far she likes a phase eight dress but can't find a jacket. Hobbs Persephone dress is nice but too short. She has the ted baker upalad dress and jacket but is wondering if it is enough (she is mother of the groom)

All suggestions gratefully received

Hiya, I went through this with my mum for my wedding (although she is considerably larger)
I never realised how difficult (and bloody expensive) it was to find this kind of outfit.
I have imaged searched the ted baker dress and jacket and I think that would be fine!! Its a neutral colour and style so could easily be dressed up with a brightly coloured hat or fascinating, matching bag, shoes, big button hole and statement jewellery. If it was a busier dress then you wouldn't be able to do the above. Hope this helps

Thank you so much, I really appreciate the help as we are both getting a touch frustrated with the process. she is claiming she looks like the queen mother in Jacque Vert... So have sent the links to the others.

She also likes the ted baker so I may use my influence there....
