Help a Boden virgin

My first Boden order at 46 (am I officially Mumsy now?) is this tweedy jacket I do love it but the 8R is a bit boxy on me especially big on the boobs.. will the smaller size be a neater fit or teeny weeny, how is their sizing?

Try the 6 or maybe the 8 petite (unless you're tall). Their sizing is massive IME.

I am a 6 or 8 petite in Boden. I have the tweed jacket from last year and got the 6 so size down.
