Considering purchasing one, think they are made for specifically outlets and cost around half price: £245.
Does anyone have and has it aged well?
Also, is the colour a bit too red in daylight?? (looked fine in shop..)
Am very tempted although think do prefer normal oak, but these are never in the sale and I don't think they are worth £500!!

I've got an orange-y coloured Anthony (don't remember what colour name it was given), which I think may have been made for outlets (I bought mine at Shepton Mallet about 4 or 5 years ago). It's been great, lasted excellently, is so practical, I must have used it every day for almost 3 years. I've not been the least gentle with it, so it's looking pretty bruised now, but still gets compliments when I wear it. But don't know about the dark oak colour, although I'm sure it will age well.

I have the dark oak one. I haven't used it a huge amount, the leather is smoother than some Mulberry leathers and I have managed to scratch the front of it somehow, I suspect with my finger nail, which I was a bit fed up about. I also haven't used it in the rain, I suspect it could mark even though I have sprayed it with waterstop spray. I don't think it's too red, it goes well with my dark tan boots. I use my black one in all weathers, this one I am more careful with. Probably not what you wanted to hear but I could be wrong. The tan leathers are generally less weather proof than the darker colours.

I have a large chocolate Anthony. It's made of Darwin leather, so it's quite heavy. It still looks good. I've had it over seven years.
