Next tops - big or about right?

I have my eye on a couple of items from Next and wonder if their sizings are still hit and miss. I've not shopped there for years and can only shop online, and would like to avoid having to return things if possible. I want to get this long sleeve T-shirt:

Most of my wardrobe is a 10, (although that seems to mean very little) and my bust measurement is 35". I like T-shirts to fit snuggly, as it does in the photo, so wondering whether to get the 10 (as I would if it wasn't for Next's dodgy sizing!) or an 8 (to get a fitted 10)? What do you reckon?

but not sure whether the "small" (which they say is an 8-10) will be massive and to go for the XS instead?

Order both sizes and send back the ones that don't fit.

I've just noticed that provided I keep part of my order I won't get charged for returns, so your idea is probably the safest, Draws.

You can also return stuff to store really easily if you have one near you.

I find next really big, I'm a 5.7" size 8, don't buy much from next but the few tops I have just brought (animal print jumper/dress thing) I have had to buy in a size 6 Petite, as found even the 6 in regular was baggy around bust/armpit and tummy area, and I'm not small busted either a healthy 32d.

It's mental my friend laugh when I buy petite at my height, but my body is petite it's just my 34inch leg that's not lol x

The are huge. I got a casual top from there in a size 10. It fits and I am 8 months pregnant....

Massive. I have stuff in a 6 from there. I'm a 10-12.

Right, they arrived today and even though I'm a size 10 I kept the size 8 T-shirts (they fitted like in the pics), the XS(size 6!) "Pink Snuggle Fleece Top" because it was plenty loose enough and I was swamped in the 10, and the size 10 "Snuggle Top" because the size 8 was too close-fitting. Which just goes to show what a load of rubbish the sizes are
