what do you S&B ladies think of these boots...

www.amazon.co.uk/Earth-Spirit-Long-Boots-Augusta-Women-38-Aged/dp/B00FAKNVO2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381233053&sr=8-2&keywords=earth+spirit+augusta

I need flat warm boots for school run and general mucking around with small people, they are fleece lined but quite snug around calves even half a size up, have tried them on and they are nice. But not sure if I should go full on chunky like the Merrell range.

They are lovely, really comfy looking while still very with it! adds them to my list

eurochick · 08/10/2013 14:06

I like them.

LaurieFairyCake · 08/10/2013 14:07

Nice!

But I am going to recommend another pair as they're entirely waterproof - Emu sheepskin boots. - yes, entirely waterproof (you can put them in a bucket of water) sheepskin boots.

I bought mine from QVC last week as they were a today's special value for. £142

They are more supportive than normal Celtics or Uggs and very, very comfy and practical

teta · 08/10/2013 14:33

They are on the TK Maxx website for £70 at the moment( at least they look the same).

Switchedtoeatingbutter · 08/10/2013 15:21

saved you £60

they are nice, even nicer at tk maxx price

kiwidreamer · 08/10/2013 17:39

Laurie I do have some Emu low stingers but I find them a bit unstructured for walking any kind of distance in, we have a 30min walk to school so I need something that will last the distance... love my snuggly Emu's tho!!

Teta & Switched awesome!! thanks for the bargain hunt, I saw some on ebay but was worried about them being fake or something, TKmaxx is the perfect compromise.

Now to suggest to DH they would be the perfect birthday present... complicated by last night saying I didn't need / want anything --cos I've been buying myself lots of stuff recently knowing he wouldn't bother with my birthday--

The waterproof ones are much more structured and stronger, they're quite firm but still snugly

I'm trying to persuade everyone to buy them. Grin just can't get over waterproof sheepskins

Laurie have you had them yet? My mum and I both sent ours back, they were uncomfortable and so badly made, the stiching came undone on the heel of my mums and I never even wore mine as they felt so horrid inside, thank goodness for QVC's 30 day return though I was pissed off at all the postage spent. I wish I had read the reviews on QVC first.
