Barbour jacket - sizing

DerbyNottsLeicsNightNanny · 07/10/2013 17:52

am going to order this to try, would have to be v.v.nice for me to keep it though as its pretty costly. Does anyone know how the sizes run - big or small? I am a size 10 but would like to be able to wear a jumper under it (not a massively thick jumper though).

TIA

I find barbour comes up small so would suggest a size larger than you, so a 12 or even a 14 if you want layers under

I find Barbour sizing very erratic...I'm 10 in some styles and 12 in others. You really need to try them on. Love this coat....I'm going to get it too.

Sizing is quite small in my experience. Sleeves are always on the short side. Nice jackets though!

I think Barbour in general come up quite small.

Erratic.

I've got a 10 and a 12 and can squeeze into DD size 8.

I think they come up small, so I'd order up a size.

Quilted go down a size, waterproof and waxes go up a size . I tried that in last week but going git Hawkshead (think it 'd called) instead. I bought two quilted from outlet stirs last week (oops) and eagerly suiting their waxes!!
