How do you organise your wardrobe?

Just interested to see how everyone else approaches this really.

Mine could do with a bit of organisation. It's not stuffed as I'm quite good at clearing things out, but I sometimes forget I have items in there until I go through everything.

I currently group mine by occasion - so, work stuff, (grouped by clothing type), then casual stuff/weekend wear and then nice dresses and going out clothes.

Any other tips for keeping things organised and easy to pick an outfit out of would be very welcome Thanks

I group mine by item and then colour. So for example all my jumpers are together and they are sorted into colours - so all whites / beige, then yellows, then pinks purples, blues and greens, greys and then blacks as an example. Other "item categories" are:-
Vests
Going out tops
Cardigans
Trousers
Skirts
Evening dresses
Day dresses

Interesting... I do tend to coordinate outfits so this could be the way forward for me.

Find it fascinating to see what other people do!

I have grouped my clothes into sections. Dresses/ jeans/tops/knitwear/scarves. All shoes in boxes overhead and labelled. Vest tops folded in side shelf. Hats and belts in shelf below. Holiday clothes in one below that. Coats and jackets in a separate wardrobe.
