Argan oil disaster

So I sprayed on six to eight drops today and worked it through. My hair looks like it has been dipped in a vat of oil even after three washes and conditions.
Help!

I avoid oils for this very reason, so no hands on experience, but to shift oily stuff (glares at headlice treatment) try rubbing a cheap-ish shampoo into DRY hair and really rub it in until you get a lather. Might take a while. Rinse, shampoo as normal, and condition.

I have below shoulder length hair and I use one to two drops maximum. Put in my palm rub them together then tip head upside down and put the ends of my hair into my palms then run finger tips through length of hair.

Goodness that's a lot. Try combing talc through it to absorb?

let your hair dry. then shampoo without wetting. Then rinse.

YY ^ washing up liquid.

My hair is long and but fine. I only ever use 2 drops max.

callamia · 05/10/2013 20:02

A drop of washing up liquid - it will strip your hair of all the product on it.
Then you can be kind to it with some good conditioner.

lucysmam · 05/10/2013 21:00

Did you manage to get it out?

NewBlueShoesToo · 05/10/2013 21:05

Try Johnson's baby shampoo or Head and Shoulders and then a trip to the swimming pool if that doesn't work.Smile

Blueandwhitelover · 06/10/2013 15:18

It's gone! Lucysmam suggested shampooing my dry hair first then showering as normal, so I did that with the usual shower, shampoo, rinse, condition and it has worked.
I confess that I didn't have my glasses on and didn't read the instructions properly!
I might try again next Saturday just with two pumps!
