Red lipstick

I never wear lipstick usually just lip balm. Today I bought a red lipstick (Boots no7 in Siren). Love how it looks but feel everyone is staring as it's so obvious!

Does anyone else feel like this when wearing bright colours? Do you wear your bright lipsticks everyday just for doing your everyday things? I am a sahm so my days are spent doing school run amd chasing a toddler, will I look a loon rocking into playgroup in my red lipstick?

Yes, just wear it and smile. Nowt wrong with red lipstick, I wear it most days and I'm not the only one on here by a long shot

You wear and enjoy your red lipstick.

Personally I think red lips are at their best when worn with more casual clothes. Yes they are very classic with a little black dress and all but there is something about red lips paired with jeans and a t-shirt that just looks really great. Effortless glam.

I often wear bright fuchsia lipstick. As I've got older, red lipstick on me can look a little ageing so I apply it, blot it with tissue and then apply vaseline punk bubbly over the top to soften it.

I've just bought the new red vaseline one and that is fab too.

I don't really suit nude lips and I would never set foot outside the house with no lipstick on.

I bet you look lovely and the name siren sounds a fabulous colour.
