Red cheeks

I have really red cheeks. And not in a nice way. They are blotchy bright red and i hate them. As far as I can remember, they've always been like this. I'm really rubbish with makeup anyway, but is there anything I can do to hide them a bit?

Yes, Bare Minerals concealer.

Thank you! Have you tried this yourself? And probably a stupid question but like I said, I'm rubbish with makeup! does this go on before foundation? Blush

It's a little pot of powder that turns into a cream when you apply it with their concealer brush. Yes I've been using it for nearly 4 years now, it's amazing. It seems expensive but it will last 6 months. If you are fair then the bisque shade is probably the right one. It's slightly yellow based so cancels out the red.

You can put it under our over foundation if you use powder foundation but over if you use liquid.

Sorry for taking so ling to reply. Thanks for your help, I'm going to give it a try.

Have you used any of their other stuff? I'm thinking I might ask for the foundation for Christmas. Not sure though.

Yes,I use the bisque and the foundation and have done for years.

You really need to get colour matched correctly. Ime the women are really good so don't be scared. If you go and ask for a make under , that's what they call itGrin , and ask for samples, they will happily give them to you, and ask them to write down what they used as you need to put it on your Christmas list. I do this all the time and ime they've been delighted to help. But don't try to choose a colour on line, it's nigh on impossible.

Oh yes, word of warning, some people are allergic to bismuth which is in the ORIGINAL FORMULA, if you go for the MATTE FORMULA it doesn't contain bismuth. I prefer the matte, imo it's better at covering redness.

when you know your colour you can buy on line/Ebay for a fraction of the cost Wink

Lily lolo are another brand that have loads of shades but are only on line, but you can order samples very cheaply and their customer service is fantastic ime. Less coverage than BM imo.
