Cheap face cream

Hi, Can anyone help me to find a cheap face cream? I use Oil of Olay moisturiser at the moment (the pump one) a seperate one for day and night. Times are hard and I just cant justify spending c.£30 on myself at the moment - any suggestions of a cheap alternative? Thank you in advance.

Can you use the plain Nivea at night? It's very thick but fantastic. For the day cream I use Simple range.

Aldi have won lots of beauty awards with theirs. Their serum I bought a few weeks ago is lovely.

nivea, either the blue pot one or the soft one in a white tub. my skin feels great and I just use it all over face and body. a large tub was less than £5.

I use acqueous cream, some supermarkets do their own brand. It doesn't suit everyone, but I have very dry skin and have never found anything better - moisturiser and night cream. It's very cheap.

I don't know whether this would suit your skin but I now use oil at night: either wheatgerm oil from Holland and Barrett or just almond oil from the supermarket - a couple of quid a bottle and it lasts for months Grin It works for me and I wouldn't go back to 'proper' night cream now.

Lots of people recommend Astral too. I don't use it myself as it irritates my skin but it's worth checking out.

This is a lovely cream. I like the whole range.

Nivea - they do a lovely light one in a white tub.

Blue Nivea at night, Astral in the day. Can get a big tub of each for about £5
