Maternity fashion thread

Okay, I'm struggling with finding maternity clothes that I like. The high street seems to have given up on us with bumps so it's all online shopping, which is okay but sizing is especially difficult to work out as each shop does it differently!

There are some expensive online maternity clothes that I can't justify to wear for a few months, or it's cheap and nasty shiny work trousers that I really don't want either. I ended up with a lot of boring Next clothes for my last pregnancy that I can't bring myself to wear again.

In particular, I'd like to find a nice dress to wear for Christmas parties (yes I'm thinking ahead!) and can't find anything I like online. Another problem is that I'm quite short so anything knee length on the model ends up long and frumpy on me.

So ladies, please tell me what am I missing? Have looked online at H&M, New Look, Topshop, Mamas and Papas, Mothercare, Seraphine, Crave, Next, Asos - am I just too fussy?!

If anyone else is on this journey too and struggling to get themselves dressed, please join in my rant! Grin

My party dress for last Christmas which had to do everything came from bumpalicious and was great.
