Showerproof jacket that isn't horrible...

I'm feeling uninspired - I need a jacket that I can wear with jeans and boots, will resist a bit of a shower-y walk with a buggy but still look nice.
I wear a lot of vintage and anything parka-ish wouldn't look right with all my stuff, although I keep seeing them on others and liking them.

Any ideas?
