Joules wellies

May be a daft question but if I normally wear a size 5 shoe, will their wellies in size 5 fit?

Am a very skint student and have been given £50 to pamper myself. I don't want to spend it on something that's too small!

i have joules wellies, i am a 4 and my wellies are a 4 and i can fit thick socks too, suppose it depends as to how roomy you want them as to if you need to size up, i like mine snug.

MrsCosmopilite · 03/10/2013 11:27

No that's good to know.
I don't like them too 'sloppy' so I'll go ahead and order the 5.
Fortunately, I've just found a discount code! :)

I can't imagine you'll find them too small. They are quite generously sized. If you live in the North West the Joules Outlet at Cheshire Oaks is good for Welly bargains!

MrsCosmopilite · 03/10/2013 13:42

Thanks Marylou2 --sadly not in that area at all, but the discount code made them affordable. Might even be able to afford some natty socks now!

Adults joules wellies always seem very true to size and generous in the leg....kids ones always seem to come up small .....happy shopping! Wink

They are true to size - I love mine - they are so comfy! I got mine from Ebay - sure they have a Joules outlet on there

ilikecooking · 04/10/2013 21:55

My Joules wellies developed cracks within weeks....rubbish! Now not wearable. I am not impressed.

MrsCosmopilite · 04/10/2013 22:03

Oh no, ilike - that's not good at all. Did you return them/complain? When I ordered I spotted something that said they had a one-year guarantee. Fingers crossed!

I found Joules wellies to be really poor quality and quite floppy!

PuppyMummy · 04/10/2013 22:19

I swapped to Joules after years of hunters, then the hunters started splitting over the foot and got ridiculously expensive.

The Joules are much better, however the First pair I had did split along the seam after about 2 months. I sent them back and got another pair which have been fine. they r true to size. I'm a 5 and have size 5 wellies.

ilikecooking · 06/10/2013 22:12

I haven't taken them back yet....I only had 4 weeks use out of them so will try and deal with refund over next few weeks. Thankyou for pointing it out.

MrsOnTheMove · 06/10/2013 22:15

I had two pairs of Joules wellies in the space of six months! Both cracked and split, I wouldn't recommend Hmm

VivaLeThrustBadger · 06/10/2013 22:28

Don't waste your money.

I had some and they leaked. They did replace them but it took months and a sustained twitter/Facebook campaign from me. I had to post them back for tests and they never arrived at Joules. Post office refused to refund as they say Joules official business address isn't a real address. Hmm

Anyway my new boots lasted about eight short walks before leaking like a pig. I can't be bothered to go through it again with them and am binning them. My £8 Dunlop wellies are the best I've had.
