I went into Next today and

everything was beyond awful. Horrible colours, shapes and materials. I really just wanted a new plain long sleeved t shirt but left empty handed. So uninspiring

I really don't like that shop, I always find it very drab somehow. Zara for basics like t shirts

My Next is always stuff full of stuff too,but none of it nice.The office wear looks cheap and dated.

I did however try on some skinny jeans and they were sooooo comfy.But I heard that they bag after a few washes.

I dunno what's happening to Next I use to like alot of the stuff in there.

Alongside their absolutely hideous work clothes, there were a few 'Christmas office party' outfits. Utterly depressing. Could have easily been at BHS.

I don't get Next.

At 33 I've never owned a single item of their clothing.

So dreary and frumpy.

I saw a few ok things in there today but anything halfway decent was out of most sizes! I'm generally pretty unimpressed with much of the A/W stock that I've seen anywhere and some of the prices are eyewatering

Usually I'd agree with you but I've just bought this black cord skirt and I really like it. It's short-ish, sits above the knee and fits really nicely.

But I have just bought a lovely skater style work skirt from there and it's great quality and fits really well. I'll shut the door on my way out!.....

It used to be really good for basics but I struggle to find anything there now. And the lines are the same, year on year. Have you looked at their kids clothes lately? Awful colours and so expensive. I picked up a duffle coat for a 6 year old, it was £62. WTAF?

I usually really like Next and always get vouchers for xmas but last few times I've been in I've been so disappointed. Garish, odd shapes just horrible.

Sadly I haven't found an alternative at the same price point.

I would agree with you in general. Don't normally like Next at all, but bought a couple of their T-Shirts and they fit perfectly, good length and shape etc.

Not sure if the log sleeve ones are the same fit.

I went to my local Next today....and it was shut down!
