Ankle/shoe boot

I'm way behind the trend and only wear skinny jeans with mid length or high boots. So I've decided I need to be more adventurous and wear the short ankle boots I see everyone else wearing.

I don't know what they should look like though. I've ordered a few pairs and I have skinny legs so they all gape at the ankle. Imagine a twig in a plan pot. That's what they look like on me.
So is this normal and what they should look like. I want something suitable for wearing with skinny jeans or tights and dresses etc

Have to agree with your first point of view on this. I'm still behind the times too but even in my teenage days I didn't like ankle boots with anything other than trousers over the top to hide the join. I think they look ugly/grannyish with skirts and and a bit weird with tight jeans. Not helpful I guess...

Snap - I like the look of them on other people! Want some though, so watching with intent...

Hello, I have the same problem, skinny ankles, but after years of searching I discovered the Sam Edelman Louie Boot in black suede. See link. Fit quite close to ankles, mega comfort, v well made with sturdy sole, v trendy right now (has a celeb following) and work great with jeans and dresses. Not cheap - £175 - but they're fab

Google for more images etc but here's a link

Bambi, those are nice but as I'm so unsure I ideally want a cheaper pair.

What do they look like on normal people. Am I just worrying over nothing
