What shoes with these jeans, please?

I bought these jeans in the Boden preview and I love them. Up to now I've been wearing them with converse but am going to need a winter shoe soon. What do you think?

A brogue or a loafer, not boots.

I think you would need heels not flats.

I've got those! They are quite long on me so I wear them with tan heeled ankle boots.

Yep, I agree that boots are a no. I have huge feet so am a bit wary of brogues but would love some links please, please, pretty please. They are certainly long enough for a heel, but which heel?

Oops didn't mean to offend frankie (love the name btw!) but not sure how I see a boot working - maybe a link please!

I know we're all different but personally I would not put a heel or boot with that style.

I should have said that they are so long on me that all you see is the toe of my boot sticking out, plus the invisible lift of my heel makes my legs look longer! I couldn't possibly wear flats with mine. I'd be tripping over!
