Biker Style Boots?

Ollybear · 01/10/2013 13:07

I've been looking everywhere for some biker boots and really need to purchase as mine from last year are falling apart. I want black ones.

So far, I'm drawn to these:

Clarks - too frumpy/plain?

Pull & Bear

Zara

Anyone found anything nicer? I'd prefer silver hardware rather than gold which has limited my options.

Just re-read comments - no code, just a reduction.

SlinkyB · 01/10/2013 21:21

I bought these (in the chocolate colour) on the weekend- there was 20% off and I had a vouchers so only paid £30.

Oh, I usually stick to Clark's purely because I'm a typical size 5.5 and not many places do half sizes.

I have these blowfish boots they are very comfortable and I like the unusual details

NoGoatsToe · 01/10/2013 22:07

I have these in brown www.dunelondon.com/ransell-cleated-sole-leather-biker-boot-0040508590001484/ and am gutted that I paid £130 less than a month ago and now they are on sale! Envy I love them, they are comfy and (I think!) look great with skinny jeans and skirts. Grin

Beaverfeaver · 01/10/2013 22:11

Blowfish ones are nice. Saw them in the shops the other day.

The M&S ones look very impressive and good quality.

Like the pull and bear ones, they are just ok.

Due are nicish too.

I'm no foe of clarks but I really don't like the clarks ones

PrimalLass · 02/10/2013 10:06

I want these, but £300 is ludicrous.

I have ugg tatums. I paid £180 last year when they were on offer. Next have a copy of them this year and also they are available in the ugg outlets ( Portsmouth etc ) if you call around one near you ?

TabithaMcKitten · 02/10/2013 13:25

I've just bought these in black and I love them

I needed something flat and warm as I'm recovering from spinal surgery and I'm very pleased with them. They are nowhere near as bulky as they look in the photo which is fab as I have quite slim legs!

freddiefrog · 02/10/2013 14:05

I've got these in the dark brown (fern?)

I've had mine years, they were called Mardy I think, but the Anna is the same as far as I can tell. They're fab for snow, keep your feet toasty warm and are dead comfy. They do them in ankle length as well

waltergal1 · 02/10/2013 15:25

What about these boots- www.6pm.com/frye-veronica-slouch-black-stone-wash

Stopputtingitoff · 02/10/2013 21:02

I got the Dune Riffs and sent them back too. Like Mae i found they were a bit pointy. I wanted them to be a bit more rugged. Yes, you can slip them on.

nipersvest · 02/10/2013 23:44

Nogoatstoe, they were the ones in wanted but couldn't find in brown in my size, I went for the diza instead as they were the closest I could find heel wise.

PrimalLass · 04/10/2013 07:45

Thanks bishboschone. I have to ebay my Kensingtons first.

Secret Sales have the Dune Riffy in suede for £59 today. Am very tempted but I have a Shoeaholics voucher so might order these.

Harley Davidson do some really nice female boots. Property authentic biker boots!

PrimalLass · 04/10/2013 07:48

NoGoatsToe if it was less than a month ago then I would be tempted to check the returns policy, order a new pair and then return them with the original receipt.

bishboschone · 04/10/2013 08:48

I'm going to buy ugg grandle in black as i find my Tatums a bit smart for being a sahm. My feet love uggs .

bishboschone · 04/10/2013 08:49

Thy are nice primal .

ElizabethBathory · 04/10/2013 08:56

I've got the Dune Riff ones. They are so so comfy. The toes are more delicate than most bikers but that's one of the reasons I like them - bored of clompy bikers now. You don't need to undo the zip or buckle.

bishboschone · 04/10/2013 10:44

Where are the dune riff on offer ?

higgle · 04/10/2013 14:33

HoF

Gingefringe · 04/10/2013 17:41

I bought a pair of Dune ones similar to Riff a couple of years ago but the buckles are so noisy they drive me mad!

NoGoatsToe · 04/10/2013 18:38

PrimalLass - but I have worn them - surely they wouldn't take them back?? I had to order them into a Dune store to get the bleddy things in the first place as they were only on the website.
