Vintage Glamour back again!

So, I bought this and it arrived today. The only think I'm not convinced about is the colour, it's more pink than I would usually wear. Grin

What I'm most pleased about is that I ordered a medium & it fits!!!! Wasn't sure if I'd have to lose a pound or two!

So, please convince me it's lovely, very vintage glamour & help with part 2...I need some underwear to smooth out my bumps, and shoes.

I quite like these but not sure about white (they do come in black too) and would prefer not to pay £75 if I can avoid it.

They're beautiful and not OTT, very much in keeping with the dress.
Did you see the pendant?

Still unsure about shoes. I know these aren't exactly vintage looking but would they work?

Or these

Fabulous dress- you are right that the shoes you link too are very 30's but I agree with Leo in that in these modern times they are clumpy, especially with a light satin fabric. You could get away with a higher block heel, and as long as you went with a sandal that had a nod to the Mary Jane style common then you would still be pretty authentic

QueenofallIsee · 02/10/2013 12:04

Bravo on the Next shoes! I think those are perfecto

MrsHelsBels74 · 02/10/2013 16:07

Very taken with these

Oh my god, I love that dress, gutted they don't have a small

VeeAndTea · 02/10/2013 16:28

How does Ghost size? I am an 8-10, so a medium would be too big, wouldn't it?

MrsMcEnroe · 02/10/2013 16:32

Those Next shoes are quite good OP - here are some original 30s shoes for comparison www.etsy.com/uk/search?q=1930s%20shoes&view_type=gallery&ship_to=GB

MrsHelsBels74 · 02/10/2013 16:45

I'm a 12-14 & the medium fits me.

The dress is beautiful.

I would pick the Dune shoes out of all the ones shown.
Lots of lovely replica vintage jewelry around.

For your hair this was the easiest I could find.

Would a fake fur stole be 'de trop' or essential glamour?

OP posts:
MyBoysAreFab · 02/10/2013 19:57

I was going to suggest a cream fake fur stole or cape, with delicate t-bar shoes - say silver - and a long necklace like knotted pearls or a tassle. Fab!
