Is it possible? I have a gorgeous taupe biker jacket but it is too big now. Is it alterable and if so, where? Ta!

Obviously I have a jacket. Sorry

I have altered a leather jacket before (lowered sleeve height as they were a bit 'puffy').
I bought a special leather needle for my machine (wedge shaped) and used special extra strong thread.
I guess it depends on what you want to do, your sewing experience and how confident you are?

Do you mean where would you alter it?

It probably needs altering at the side seams and also the sleeves will need removing/replacing as the shoulders will probably be too wide also.

It's probably a job for a professional if you're not absolutely confident.

Definitely a professional needed! But it could be done? That's good. Thanks

i have been quoted between £30 and £50 to have sleeves shortened recently so I abandoned the idea.

It is a designer one that I got cheaply so it would be worth the cost tbh. Thanks
