Smartish printed jersey dresses?

ThePorpoiseOfStupidity · 28/09/2013 17:34

I'm looking for a couple of reasonably priced patterned jersey dresses for work, but can't seem to find any I like, apart from this one which I was considering buying.

I got a nice one from Sainsbury's a few weeks ago bit can't seem to find any more. Have tried other supermarkets, Dorothy Perkins, HoF, asos, White Stuff and Debenhams. The ones I've seen are either plain or too casual for work.

I just wondered if anyone had seen anything they could recommend? I could spend up to £30.

Thanks!

Watching with interest. I could do with one for work. ..

edam · 28/09/2013 17:48

No idea, sorry, but am also interested in your question!

edam · 28/09/2013 17:49

Phase 8 usually has a few, btw, but I haven't seen their stuff so far this autumn.

googlecanthelp · 28/09/2013 17:55

Phase eight and look at the sale section on line or if you are close to one look at the designer outlets.

Phineyj · 28/09/2013 18:12

Designers at Debenhams? I got a great printed jersey maxi there this summer.

ThePorpoiseOfStupidity · 28/09/2013 18:12

They have some nice ones on the Phase Eight website, but still a bit too pricey unfortunately. I know they have quite good reductions in the HoF concession stores though as I tried a dress on quite recently there and it was about £35.

Artigiano if you are feeling spendy - although a lot of theirs are plain.

Phineyj · 28/09/2013 18:13

Sorry just seen your budget!

Wonderstuff · 28/09/2013 18:17

Now I've just fallen in love with a phase eight dress I can't afford!

pretty

Phineyj · 28/09/2013 18:29

Ooh that is gorgeous Wonderstuff! I have just bought a Wallis dress thanks to this thread - not the one the OP linked to though.

ThePorpoiseOfStupidity · 28/09/2013 18:32

That's lovely wonderstuff.

I can't link on my phone but I've seen some nice ones in oasis which are similar to the one you've linked to.

NoComet · 28/09/2013 18:46

Dotty P's are having a sale loads and loads of dresses.

I frequently have to remove DD1 from Oasis nice dresses, but a bit much for every day teen treatment.

duckyfuzz · 28/09/2013 18:48

Great Plains bargain I have it in both colours

ThePorpoiseOfStupidity · 28/09/2013 18:57

Oasis do have nice ones this one is quite nice. Your link isn't working duckyfuzz, but is it the sissy spot dress?

OP posts:
BuggedByJake · 28/09/2013 19:00

I was going to suggest Joules but after seeing the dress you linked to I'm guessing it might not be your style? Worth a look though.

satsumagirl · 28/09/2013 19:01

Peacocks have someGrin They do online delivery if you're not near a store too

duckyfuzz · 28/09/2013 19:27

Yes is sissy dress, not sure what happened to the link...!

littlemisswise · 28/09/2013 19:37

ThePorpoiseOfStupidity · 28/09/2013 19:38

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, have identified another possibility from Peacocks which looks really nice. We have a store in town so I might try to pop in tomorrow to have a look.

I had both colours too of the sissy spot dress ducky but they didn't look right on me. I have the rainbow spot dress from gp, which I wear for work.

Matalan

Matalan again, but a bit long so might be okay if you're tall.

duckyfuzz · 28/09/2013 19:44

Hobbs outlet has some bargains too
