Clinique Super Double powder compact

I'm looking for something with as good coverage as the super double powder by clinique but without the price tag...

I've seen Max factor powders mentioned but am unsure what to even search for?

I'm looking for a compact powder that gives coverage as well as keeps foundation in place? Is there such a thing on a budget?

Thanks

I have the Max Factor 3in1powder having used Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Estée Lauder etc etc.

For the princely sum of £10.99 it does the job nicely, doesn't cake like some powders and the colour range is pretty good. I can top up during the day without looking like new makeup over old as well.

Forgot to mention, it works well over liquid foundation too - just need to apply lightly.

Loz, I wear EL double wear, would I be overloaded with product if i used this? I need something for a little after lunch touch up to stop the T zone shine peeking through & the super double Clinique did the job brill but at £22 ish ......

I'm watching this with interest as I love MAC powder but it is not cheap. I tried the botanics one at Boots years ago which was good so maybe it still is?

@Duvet - I don't see why it wouldn't work, if I put it on over liquid foundation I pat it on with the sponge rather than 'sweep' it across my face.

Aldi do a good powder in a surprisingly posh looking silver compact for £2.39.
There's a review of it here...
