Keep seeing this bag over the last few months,in real life and on pinterest/instagram,had never considered LV as a brand as thought it had gone down same road as the Burberry check.
Fancied it as a good chuck everything in everyday bag,Any thoughts or anyone got one?

No for me, there are loads of good looking totes out there that I prefer, cost less and look better (says she with a neverfull looky likey that she bought without realising!). I think I'd rather have a le pliage personallly

I love it. My only hesitation is that it is technically a big bucket in which you'd be searching ages to find your keys/phone etc. I have the LV Alma in Epi Leather. I prefer Epi rather than the monogram designs as they are discreet. The alma is nice but doesn't go over the shoulder.

I have This

But yes, it's essentially a big bucket and trying to find your keys, lipgloss, etc is a pain.

Twinklestein · 27/09/2013 19:46

I had one but I got rid. No secure fastening is a pain, and it comes up quite high under your arm, so it's ok in the summer but it wasn't comfy over my winter coats.

I have had one of the large ones for years and I have used it loads. Agree with the others that it is a bit cavernous but I use a range of make up bags/purses to organise bits inside. It is so versatile. The straps are quite narrow so can dig in if the bag is heavy. The damier Ebene version has had problems with the straps peeling - look on the purse forum website for lots more info. I would really advise going into a LV store and have a try. They are very happy for you to do this. Don't regret buying it because I have had my money's worth but they are everywhere!

the monogram bags are having a huge come back specially speedy and neverfull, looks like a perfect size for an everday bag,i wanted one for a few years, but kept buying other bags that turned out a complete waste of money. including the goyard shopper horrible! i say go for it Smile

MadameOvary · 27/09/2013 21:31

Noooo. They are lovely but they are everywhere

Ok thanks,some points to consider.
I already have a longchamp in bright pink and keep seeing women of the older generation with the same bag.

I still might go with the non monogram style, might be more subtle.Thanks.

Oh and I would probably wear it /use it in a quite casual way with jeans/blazer/converse rather than dressed up.

Forgot to say I have a couple of Mulberry's which everyone seems to have,I'm not really worried about the Lv being so popular.

If its for a day bag and you want that sort of style, I'd consider going for something like the LV Belmont.
