Right. Autumn coats/jackets

S&B experts! I need a coat/jacket for now (autumn in UK), so not a full-length full-on winter job but not a mac or trench either.

Shortish length but not cropped, a stand-up collar or one that can be turned up, and no or very little man-made material are all prerequisites.

I think I'm thinking vaguely biker-style, but not leather. Or miltary-ish.

Can anyone help?

Oh, and high street or designer outlet only.

Remus, this kind of thing. And, on the high street, I quite like but can't bring myself to pay for this.

By 'short' I don't really mean waist-length and certainly not cropped; just not 'long' as in full-on past-the-knee winter coat.

MrsR, it's a bit short for me – I don't suit short/cropped –but yes, it's nice.

Not sure about this but it's a nice length Prob too loud and too much polyester.

Thanks all! Love the Reiss one, but it might be a bit wintry – mainly wool and a touch of cashmere. I'm after something a little lighter.
