Right, I'm on my way to buy it. I know everyone's going on about pink coats being the must have item this season, but I just don't think I can do that much pink. Accessories are my thing and I remember the Peony & Moore bag was a hot pink that will go with everything.

madammecholet · 27/09/2013 13:56

I've GOT IT!! Bought mine about 3 years ago though, they've started doing it again! Ha ha.. Does than mean its RETRO now!!

Agree kagriff I can't do top to toe pink, a coat is too much, I had a boden one from years ago, bright pink wool 3/4 length, sold it on ebay about 3 years ago as I never wore it....

Kagriff · 27/09/2013 14:11

It's not just the amount of pink. If you choose something as noticeable as a pink coat you risk looking the same thing as everyone else. I'd rather do my usual uniform and add an accessory such as the Peony & Moore bag.

I can see the bag will go with navy, grey, black, but I've just bought a pair of berry/claret type jeans - I think the hot pink of the bag would look really cool with the deep red. Has anyone else done that colour combo?

nowaistatall · 27/09/2013 14:51

I agree Kagriff accessories are the thing to buy in the 'in' colour and I keep the main pieces in my wardrobe classic. Knew someone wanted a pink Mariella Smile

Oh my goodness I love it! Can I justify it tho with 3 dc under 4 it will get trashed and it would be completely reckless and can't really afford it at all but......

madammecholet · 27/09/2013 19:26

Grin Grin laladipsey i bought mine when dd was 3, has been fab & I've been very hard on it (trashed it) & its still looking mighty fine :)

LalaDipsey · 28/09/2013 07:49

Oh gosh! My finger slipped and I may have ordered it! Blush And with next day delivery so hopefully Monday/Tuesday it'll be here Grin

Shnickshnack · 28/09/2013 08:04

madammecholet · 28/09/2013 11:05

BetsyBidwell · 28/09/2013 11:46

the brown trim is gopping though

LalaDipsey · 28/09/2013 12:59

How old is your dd now madamacholet? (Sorry cant check back on phone for spelling!) Smile

VestaCurry · 28/09/2013 13:03

Need to eBay much of my current handbag stash before I contemplate buying anymore.

madammecholet · 28/09/2013 17:46

laladipsey 3 years i reckon? There or thereabouts.. betsey tbh the brown leather trim means its far easier to wear with brown boots / jackets etc...its not gopping at all irl...

nowaistatall · 28/09/2013 21:03

I agree - I have a couple of two tone leather bags and it does mean you can wear them with other colours - boots, shoes, coats etc. and they stand out a bit more from the normal boring high street ones.
Good idea Vesta Curry I may ebay some of my old ones too - - Grin
