I have always coloured my hair various shades of bright red but about a year ago I had the stupid idea of going back to a colour near my natural shade and having large blonde slices put in. Cut a long story short it knackered my hair and I had to have a lot cut off as it ruined my hair 
. I really want to go back to a bright red shade again but any colour I'm putting on is t lifting my hair enough and it's coming out dark red .any ideas how to lift my hair colour? I have a hairdresser suppliers nearby so can get most thing there .
