Boots - I have an impossible dream

I need boots. Biker type things without too many buckles and a lowish block heel would be my preference - something smart enough to wear for my work (casual wear but no trainers, often outdoors) but durable.

I need these to be decent quality because the Tesco ones I bought a month ago for £18 are falling apart. I walk lots and lots and haven't got many pairs of shoes so they will need to wear well.

I also have a tiny budget (ie I can't actually afford them at all just now but I cannot go barefoot). I'm looking to spend up to a max of £40 but preferably much less. My clothing budget is zero Blush

Can anyone help? :(

Lots on Ebay.

New look have perfect ones, thank you. I was planning on getting a good brand (Wrangler? Clark's?) second hand or on sale but I just need something I can wear through the winter.

The postage on eBay puts me off. When your budget is small it's annoying to spend a big chunk of it on postage.

If you manage to find an extra £10 - or a discount, which is perfectly possible atm, I'd recommend these - my first pair lasted me 2 years and are still going strong, but are just rather tatty. Have just ordered another pair via Brantano website that had 40% off last week. Sadly, the offer no longer exists.www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_052010795860_-1

Ah I see it now.

I think my problem is that I had a gorgeous pair of Wrangler boots from TKMaxx years ago, for about twenty quid, which were perfect. 1.5" heel, round toes, soft leather and not too long (I have hayuuuuge calves). I'm never going to find them though, they were a once in a lifetime bargain!

Brantano and ASOS sites are good, hasn't thought of either of those so I'm having a look round them now, thanks :)
