Grey coat and grey boots - a bit much?

Just that really. I've been pondering getting some grey boots this year for a change but my main winter coat is grey too. Would I look like some ghostly grey lady?! Is it a look to avoid or will I be all colour coordinated for once and edging towards the 'dream wardrobe that works' where everything goes with everything ?!

It can work, depending on the coat and boots.Long coat?Short coat?Knee high highs or ankles?

Either way,if you do it I'd suggest one being a lighter grey and one being a darker or make sure there is colour to break it up

plum would go?

I like, but not exact matching shades of grey or you could look a bit Lulu. Which I doubt you would find matching shades anyway.

It's a knee length coat and I was thinking long boots. Hmmm. I might have to go shopping wearing the coat and decide. Those plum boots are gorgeous, but way too high for me!
