Barbour arctic down parka

Does anyone have this coat?

I'm looking for something for winter and am happy to spend the money but only if it is super super cosy and will keep me warm on the coldest winter days.

Will this do the job?

I do, mine is nearly 3 years old and very cosy. However mine is down filled where as the new ones use synthetic down so not sure how that compares.

I bought last year's half price in the summer and it's very snug but obviously that doesn't help with what the new filling would be like. I am quite pleased with the coat looks wise though - of its type I think it is reasonably flattering. The hood which is often what annoys me on functional coats is a good fit.

If you are a my wardrobe shopper you might well have just had a code for £100 off a £300 spend. Throw in a pair of tights to get to the right spend and you'll have made a very decent saving on the coat.
