Barbour Redesdale

Anyone got one ? What is the sizing like (I'm usually 14 or 16 depending on brands) Is it very hot and padded? I want something warm but not excruiatingly hot as I live in the SE. All the local shops that sell Barbour don't stock the Redesdale so want to make a good order and minimise coat of returns.

Happy to have recommendations for other warmish, waterproof jackets and short parkas. I'm 5ft 5 but very large of nork and 50 - so quite apple shaped and don't want to look awful

I ordered a jacket direct from Barbour for DD in the summer and there was an option to buy a returns label for a couple of pounds upfront. Can't advise on the fitting but it might be worth looking to see if this is still available as it would allow you to order a few things to try on with the knowledge that the cost of returning stuff would be relatively low and fixed.

Thanks - yes just looked now - I can get a returns label for £2.50 upfront (no refund). I can also order from House of Fraser who stock the Redesdale and who seem to do free returns. £199 for what amounts to a barbour anorak seems an awful lot, just can't find any reviews of this particular jacket online
