Dark fingernails or toenails?

I normally go for quite dark nail polish on my toes and fairly neutral on my fingernails but I'm going to a black tie do and I fancy going a bit dramatic on my hands for a change. I never feel the same on hands and feet looks quite right. Found a gorgeous deep berry shade but what about the toes? Am wearing peep toe shoes so they will be visible.

How about a nude colour for toes? Or a metallic, silver would look amazing contrasted against dark fingers....

I'm the other way, I prefer dark on fingers and neutral on toes.

I actually like both matching... maybe that's wrong? I have no idea but I think it looks really groomed and classic.

Ooo hadnt thought of metallic! Shoes are silver though so would that be too matchy?

I always think pale toenails look blerky. Silver reminds me if my nana!
