Best place to buy? I've lost a lot of weight lately so no clothes fit, having to buy more (shame!)

Open for colours, to wear with skinnies/jeggings, budget up to £30ish as I'd like to get a few! Any suggestions please?

Try h&m, sorry cant link but they've got some nice ones for £15 ish each and 25% off atm

CressidaMontgomery · 20/09/2013 23:12

Why slouchy and over sized? Fitted far better surely to show off your weight loss?

Imwoodword · 20/09/2013 23:17

Good call for H&M, always forget about there! Thanks.

Cressida I have already got some fitted tops, but thinking of "lazier" days and don't always want fitted on top and bottom IYSWIM?

Slouchy and oversized always looks to me a bit like a jumper in a size too big...you already have some of those Wink
Are none of your previous sized ones suitable?

PomBearArmy · 21/09/2013 10:47

Dig out last winters jumpers, you might find some of them look oversized on you now?

Imwoodword · 21/09/2013 12:40

You lot are no fun for someone wanting to spend money Grin

Will have a look at last years stuff, never even thought abou that. I think a couple will be suitable, without looking like they're just jumpers from when I was bigger.

Thanks all! Thanks

Ha ha - we are spoilsports aren't we?

I have difficulty with slouchy jumpers. I'm under 5 ft 4 and a size 8 or 10 and they can make me look dumpy. I tend to stick to fitted ones .

Having said that though - Next ( yes really ) have some nice ones in at the moment

ShreddedHoops · 21/09/2013 14:05

I have the H and M £15 one in black, it's gorgeous, am seriously thinking about buying a duplicate as it clearly won't last even a whole season, but it's so perfect and drapey and flattering. It says it's 'semi sheer' on website but it's not, it's fine with only your scants beneath.

Imwoodword · 21/09/2013 15:45

Shredded is it this you have or this? Although they look pretty similar to be fair!

Will look at Next too, I have seen a lovely Christmas jumper from there, may save on postage Grin

Topshop are good for these. Look on ebay too.

ShreddedHoops · 21/09/2013 21:09

It's this one - your first link is the dress version of it. Mine isn't anything like as see-through as the pic on the model though Confused it looked a bit cheap in the other colours, but the black is just perfect, soft and fine and comfy and flattering.

CointreauVersial · 21/09/2013 23:17

Shredded, I bought that H&M jumper in the khaki-brown colour, but I'm taking it back. I tried on the black in store, but then bought the other colour; not sure what I was thinking!

ShreddedHoops · 22/09/2013 11:42

All the other colours just looked a bit cheap and flimsy - I wanted the grey but it's a real 'school uniform' grey. I recommend the black though.

Imwoodword · 22/09/2013 11:44

That is lovely Shredded. Off to town I go tomorrow! I always find H&M sizing a law unto itself so like to try on.
