Can knee high boots be adjusted?

I bought a pair of knee high boots in the sale last winter - they're a bit baggy round the calves so I was wondering if anyone knew if a cobbler would be able to take them in so they're a bit less welly like?

I have just had two pairs of long boots shortened, I went to an indie hippy type cobblers, think hand tooled shoes, try are much more adventurous than your timpson types.

I had this done with my "Majorca Villa"s from last year- a local cobblers recommended "hippy, indie" type chap too. did a great job!
he does tooled leather bags/ belts etc (leather fetish wear too,but I didn't investigate...)

Yes, I had some taken in at a cobblers. Mine were a pull on style without zip.

How about someone who alters motorbike leathers if there are no cobblers near you who could manage it.

Thanks for the suggestions - will investigate our local non-timpsons cobbler...
