So my La Roche Posay finally arrived today...

I am 49 with oily skin which has been a blessing in that I don't really have wrinkles yet but I've always longed for clear skin. Mine is somewhat congested and now seems to be hormonally confused all over again.

I've bought a gel cleanser and the Effaclar Duo. I have to confess I do not really know what the second item is and I was quite surprised that its a gel. Is it a moisturiser or a treatment? Do I still need to use a toner? I've used it twice today and do feel clean and smooth. At my age a moisturiser is a must really so, do I need to buy another item? Many thanks

No answer, but I'm considering trying this. Please can you tell me where you bought it from?

I bought the Effaclar Duo recently, and the Effaclar K as I got blinded by too much choice and them being on offer and didn't realise both were moisturisers. I have been using the K in the morning and the Duo in the evening. I've had a few breakouts since starting using them but my pores have never looked so small and that's just in two weeks of use!

I got mine from Lloyds Pharmacy HopeClearwater as it was on offer and I had a £5 off voucher but Boots stock it too.

Couldn't find it in my local Boots so I ordered it from amazon. Turns out the seller is in Greece and it has take about a month to arrive, but it has arrived and I'm excited to see some good results.

You can buy it online from Escentual or Lloyds if that's any use for if you want to buy more at some point? Smile

Thank you, I don't think I'll be waiting a month again.
