BB cream as a primer ?

Does anyone use a BB cream as a primer ? I was reading a couple of things online from people that use it this way. As well as acting as a base for your foundation it also give extra coverage. I've got quite oily skin so recently got the Garnier BB for oily skin and am going to give it a shot....

Yes, it works well,I use it under bare minerals. The garnier one made me a bit shiny and greasy but I haven't used that one as a primer, will give it a go.

Thanks Valium. What bb cream do you use then ? I tried it today and it turned out pretty well. Make up is a wee bit patchy now but I did slap it on at 7am so can't complain too much !

I've been using the botanics one from boots which is amazing but it's making my skin a bit dry if I use it every day.
