Does anybody else look 'odd' when wearing concealer?

I know that everyone recommends that you use concealer, but whenever I use it to cover up the dark circles under my eyes, between my eyes and my nose and at the far corners of my eyes, I look, well, strange.

My eyes look small and piggy and I just look frankly weird. Is it just me? Does anybody else have this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Me too! I have terrible black circles but concealer doesn't hide them and makes my eyes look weird when I use it. It's a colour thing I think - probably need a different toned concealer. I've tried several. My circles are really bad so I suspect the things that work for most people aren't right for me.
