New Look boots

Tried on a few pairs of their ankle boots today. Chunky heels, probably a couple of inches?

They all felt as though there was a ridge across the foot, as just under the top of the arch, where the heel stops being heel and starts being sole, iyswim.

Do you get used to it? Does it ease off?

Do you even know what I'm talking about??? Grin

Ive noticed new look boots are not as well fitting this year and I always get mine there, felt like my heel wasn't properly in them and not comfy at all I think the quality is going down hill with them

Just about every item of footwear I've bought from New Look has hurt my feet... I think I have maybe two pairs that feel relatively comfortable...

Bugger.

The arch thing is just going to irritate isn't it.

I'm crap at telling whether shoes are comfy in the shop.

An inside sole might help with the feeling of something being there in the arch..
