work leather bag preferably Zara

am after a work leather bag - for interviews etc - and work. preferably Zara.

My SIL always looks at my nice old Whistles leather bag (not sure of shape lots of hardware) and says not nice enough for interviews. says her friends have nice work leather bags.

any ideas what she means?? I'm a total doofus when it comes to naice bags and don't want to splash on a Marc by MJ one just yet.

Or try John Lewis / staples - there's a brand there (Swiss one with red & silver cross, can't remember name) that does really nice ones that can take laptops too.

Sorry I didn't mention Zara at all - don't know about them but aren't you restricting yourself with just one brand?

I'm not mad keen on Radley - maybe it's that Scottie dog logo?

None of their bags seem to have much hardware on them, they seem quite plain.

dexter yes I like quite a few of those but are they too big for interviews??

this is what SIL (with the double first from Oxford LOL, am proud about this but she's a paragon really!) kept on at me about this... the size of the bag.

I like this one best for a smart handbag.
